Cookie policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This page explains what cookies are, which ones moduscarry.com uses and how you can control them. Read it together with our Privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things, such as whether you are signed in, and let advertising partners measure and personalise the ads you see. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in much the same way and are covered by this policy too.
The cookies we use
Essential cookies. These make the site work, for example keeping editors signed in and protecting forms from spam. The site cannot work properly without them.
Preference cookies. If you tick the box when leaving a comment, your browser remembers your name and email so you do not have to type them again.
Advertising cookies. Google AdSense and its partners use cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure how ads perform and, where allowed, show ads based on your interests.
Embedded content cookies. When you play a YouTube video or view an Instagram, Facebook or X post inside an article, that service may set its own cookies.

| YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE | YouTube | Video playback and preferences, when you play an embedded video | Session to 6 months |
Our advertising and embedded-content partners may change the cookies they use. Their own policies are the best source for the current list, for example how Google uses cookies.
How to control cookies
- In your browser: every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Look for “Cookies” or “Site data” in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- Personalised ads: turn off ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many ad companies at once at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Embedded content: sign out of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or X before viewing embedded posts, or avoid playing embedded media.
If you opt out of personalised ads you will still see adverts, but they will be less relevant to you.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
